Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before we talk, and a few things you might not have thought to ask.
-
Century Copywriting works with B2B technology and professional services companies, SaaS, software, IT services, consulting, financial services, legal, and staffing firms. The sweet spot is companies with $3 million to $500 million in annual revenue that have a strong offer and a sales process but aren't getting the mileage they should from their copy. If you're a B2C consumer brand, we're not the right fit.

Every engagement follows the same five steps: a discovery call to understand your business, buyers, and goals; a written project brief that confirms scope and direction before writing begins; a first draft delivered for your review; up to two rounds of revisions; and delivery of the final approved copy. No scope surprises. No copy that sounds like it came from anywhere else.
-
Project pricing depends on scope and complexity. Typical ranges: landing pages from $250–$750, email sequences from $500–$1,500, web copy per page from $350–$1,000, white papers and brand messaging platforms from $1,500–$2,500. Monthly retainers run $2,500–$15,000 depending on volume. All pricing is confirmed at the proposal stage, no surprises after we've scoped the work together.
-
Timeline depends on the project type and your availability for the discovery process. A single landing page can turn around in one to two weeks. A full web copy project or white paper typically takes three to four weeks from brief to final delivery. Timelines are set at the proposal stage so both sides have a clear picture before work begins.
-
Every project includes up to two rounds of revisions. In practice, most projects reach final approval within those rounds, because the brief process up front aligns on direction before writing begins. If additional revisions are needed beyond the included rounds, they can be added at an agreed hourly rate.
-
Yes. Monthly retainers are available for companies that need ongoing copy, email campaigns, social media ad copy, newsletters, and website updates. Retainers run $2,500–$15,000 per month depending on volume and mix of deliverables. Century Copywriting takes on a maximum of four to six retainer clients at any time to keep quality high and response time fast.
-
The discovery call is where we start, no prep required on your end beyond being ready to talk about your business, your buyers, and your goals. After the call, you'll receive a written brief to review and confirm. The more context you can share during discovery (existing copy, competitor examples, customer feedback, sales call recordings), the stronger the first draft will be.
-
That's exactly the goal. The brief process includes a voice alignment step, existing copy samples, tone preferences, and things to avoid. The aim is copy that sounds like it came from inside your company, not like it was written by an outside agency. If you don't have a defined voice yet, a Brand Messaging Platform project can establish one before other copy work begins.
-
Yes. Web copy projects incorporate SEO fundamentals, keyword alignment, header structure, metadata, without sacrificing readability or persuasive flow. The goal is copy that earns traffic and converts it. AWAI's Web Copy 2.0 training covers exactly this intersection, and it's built into how web copy projects are approached at Century Copywriting.

A few good signs: you're a B2B technology or professional services company, you have a product or service worth buying, and you've noticed that your copy isn't keeping pace with the quality of your offer. A few signs it might not be the right fit: you need design or video production (not offered), you're a B2C brand, or you're looking for the lowest possible price rather than the highest possible return. When in doubt, reach out, a 20-minute call will tell you everything you need to know.
